Overview A handy combined socket polarty and RCD checker. This Cabac TEL1TLV2 device checks most types of power points for correct wiring and also whether the ELCB trips from each power point. Variable trip current from 10mA to 35mA.
Applications
Wiring check are indicated by combination of lights on the front panel. The apparent faults which the unit will display are:
- No earth connected
- No neutral connected
- No active connected
- Active and neutral reversed
- Active and earth reversed
RCD trip test function will test that the RCDwill trip at the power point and also indicate the approximate level of trip current required. Please note that this tester (like most low cost socket testers) will indicate if an RCD trips at the appropriate current leakage fault, but cannot be used for testing in accordance with AS/NZS3760:2010, for which an accurate RCD trip time test is required.
